Seattle Families for Indoor Sports has come together to give voice to the 20,300 Seattle residents who play indoor sports at Magnuson's Arena Sports facility during over 300,000 visits a year. We range from adults to kids, from beginner-level soccer parents to lifelong athletes. But we all share the belief that our city has a rare opportunity to recognize the unique quality-of-life benefits of an expansion of indoor sports facilities.

For over eight years, kids and adults across Seattle have relied on a partnership between the Seattle Parks Department and Arena Sports to provide safe, fun sports and activities seven days a week, year-round at Magnuson Park. We believe that a park as large and varied as Magnuson can lend itself to great variety of users. Our members shop at the crafts sale, buy tickets to roller derby bouts, and support school rummage sales. We believe that the proposal for a new sports facility in Hangar 27 can, if the City recognizes the opportunity, support and expand facilities for all users in the park.
